Flash cs5 apps for android 2.1 eclair via air. Possible?

Hi.
I've got an dtc desire and a fair amount of knowloge progrmming in as3 but next to none in java.
Now, i know that the htc desire should have froyo by now but i'm in france on orange and they are completly useless...
So is it possible to make apps for 2.1 in flash cs5???

Hate to this but are you shure? I meen with such a rich back of developers are we realy saying that not one has made a patch so that 50% of android users can develope in air?

It depends on the air version. Android 2.1 seems to support AIR 2.5. If you use the latest Air 2.6, it only runs on android 2.2. Now, the flash cs5.5 is released, it already integrates the air 2.6, and support android application deploy. Please check following post:
