flash not working..

all my buddies droids have the flash working but mine does not, my droid is on 2.01...

Did you change your scene mode?

Open the camera app, drag the left ||| border to the right to access the camera settings. What does it say for flash mode? ... auto / off / on?

Scene modes will affect whether the flash will fire yes / no / maybe.

If the flash mode is grayed out, set the scene to Auto, then set the flash to on, and try taking a picture.
