Flash player for 2.2

Hello all,
I have an LG Optimus with android 2.2 running on it. Recently I installed flash player for android, but none of my web browsers seem to recognize it. Am I missing a step or is there a browser I can use that will recognize flash?

I have the EVO and it came with OS 2.2 and I didn't have to install anything for flash. Flash support was built in.

Try the normal browser than came with OS 2.2 and goto blogTV - You're Featured! Live streaming broadcasting platform, social networking and video chatting! and see if you can see any videos there. If you can see them, flash is working.

Nope, can't see any videos. Maybe the app didn't install correctly.

There is a setting on the Desire HD with 2.2 and Flash that lets you only see the Flash videos *IF* you touch the window. On mine it shows as a blank window with small green arrow. Touch the arrow and the video loads. Maybe that's it?

The issue is that you have an LG Optimus. Adobe flash is not compatible with your processor as it does not meet the min requirements (instruction set, not speed). Try skyfire browser if you want to view flash. Sorry for the bad news.

You can do what the person said above but also search the market for "flash" and see if anything else useful pops up.

Thanks for the info, I guess that's what I get for obtaining an entry level phone. I have been able to get the player to install, but it doesn't load or run.
