Flash Question

Hi,

I've recently picked up a HTC Magic on Vodafone here in the UK and I was wondering how I go about installing Flash? I understand that I should be running Cupcake (how do I find that out btw?) and so when I go to a webpage via the 'Browser' with Flash embedded I'm asked to download the Flash plugin.

It then takes me to the Adobe page and the options are Linux and RPM, gz or YUM.

Slightly confused as I am under the impression that Flash is already enabled in Cupcake.

Any pointers?
 
Flash doesn't work at all on Android right now. No way at all possible.
 
Ah ha.

Reports are confusing, I'm presuming that it's on it's way though.

Thanks for clearing it up. I was getting a little worried that my phone was defective :)
 
Yep, no flash yet, although there's been such a demand for flash on mobile devices that Adobe is working on it. I wouldn't expect it until sometime next year. It's a free product, and in this economy their focus is probably on the next creative suite.
