flashing download arrow

[Android Question]

The download arrow has started flashing since a couple of days and it will not stop. I have tried all I can with my limited knowledge, but it still flashes. an way of stopping it?

Hi

I assume you mean a flashing downward pointing arrow in the notification bar at top left?

If its flashing your phone is trying to download something. Normally you can find out what by pulling down the notification shade - swipe down from top of screen. If there is nothing it may be a persistent download from a web browser.

Re booting (turn completely off and on again) the phone should stop it.
