Root Flashing Droid 2 to another carrier

I have a Verizon Droid 2 That I want to flash so I can use on the Pocket network. I can't find a tutorial on how to do this. I have JB and unlocked many IPhones, so I know I can potentially brick the Droid.
Can someone point me toward a tutorial>

This is not a GSM phone. I'm not sure if its possible to move it to another carrier...

Unless its the Droid 2 Global you have...

Pocket and Cricket use the Verizon/Sprint network. I can pay someone to do it here in town, just wanted to learn how to do it myself like I have been doing with the IPhone.

Guess I will go pay them and see what I can learn.

The original Droid does that. The Droid 2 can be done. Gonna stop at a shop tomorrow and pay to get it done. Gonna ask lots of questions.
