Help Flashing factory images

Okay, so I recently recovered from a brick. Couldn't get into recovery, all I had was download mode.

I flashed stock firmware, however now my carrier (Virgin) boot logo, apps, and features have all been removed. I tried restoring from a backup a LONG time ago but as I thought it didn't fix it because it was an image in /dev which TWRP nor CWM Recovery backs up.

Anyways, I had a smart solution to this. I thought why not ask someone else with the exact same phone & Carrier I have to do a backup of THEIR factory image and send it to me... That way I could flash it on my device using

"fastboot flash factory factory.img"

But I'm kind of nervous about doing this because I know it contains hardware and other stuff that could EASILY hard brick my device. I wanted to know if it is safe to flash a factory image from someone else's phone and carrier that is exactly like mine.

Can you reply with what device by model number you have?

Ok, i see firmware but it's not carrier specific. Have you updated the prl and profile?

yes, I get tower connection fine after flashing the virgin APN fix, however, applications and the virgin Boot up logo no longer exist on stock ROM. Instead a flashing LG Logo has replaced the boot logo and a factory data reset doesn't seem to fix the problem. Before I was able to flash stock zv5 ROM and I'd get the red virgin bootup logo. Now I flash it and I get the LG instead. Virgin Mobiles "My account" app also seems to be missing along with a couple others
