The PADM00 variant A3, does support standard 2G and 3G modes and frequencies, and so is usable in most countries.
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900
UMTS: 850/900/1900/2100
Do you know what this "KT (Korean) network" operates on, like is it CDMA or something that makes it incompatible? I know that some Oppos can have Chinese firmware flashed to international versions, like Find7 and R7. But the A3 I don't know at all, and doesn't seem to be much information for it online.

Does flashing CPH1837 rom will help?

A bit more digging about this device here. https://www.oppo.com/cn/product/a3/parameter.html
I think that "frequencycheck" website may have incorrect information about it, because according to them that A3 Chinese variant is not even compatible with networks in China(except for 2G). Which is definitely wrong.

Have you actually tried this phone in Korea with KT, or any other Korean carrier? Because I think it should work.
Same here, can you please let me know if you find any work around it...i am also using Oppo A3 chinene ROM version. There is no problem in using the set in any GSM network. Only problem is that it does not support google. I like to change in to global version rom. Is it posible? If so, how?
