"flashlight" android app wont work on my galaxy ace

my led flashlight will not work this is exactly heat it tells me.... "it's detected that your hardware does not support led cam light screen brightness will be used to light up." i have no idea what to do need some help!

1) Ensure phone has LED flash on the back of the phone (sorry, just for the sake of thoroughness)

2) Try a different flashlight app, I personally like TeslaLED

3) Test your camera and flash hardware
a) Dial *#0*#
b) Select Mega Cam
c) take a picture, this should force a flash if it doesn't you hardware may be damaged.
