Flipboard after Marshmallow update

Does anyone know how to disable Flipboard? I've tried to disable it but it still shows up and works next to my home screen. I don't want it.

Hi, the only way I know of to disable Flipboard is to go "Settings", "Application Manager", "All apps", scroll down to Flipboard and hit "Force Stop", it disabled it on my phone. Phil

on any Samsung phone, you should get an app called "Package Disabler"

it is tons easier to use than the Applications Manager.

Hi shanny, I think the answer to your problem is easy, try this, touch and hold the icon immediately to the left of your home button, at the bottom the next screen you will see an icon named "Home screen settings", touch that and you will see "Flipboard briefing", untick this and you should be rid of the Flipboard notification.
