Folder syncing app?

Lurker
I have an un-rooted Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 tablet running Android 2.2. Dropbox doesn't do what I'd like to do. With my pc's, the dropbox folder on each one has everything in it, and any changes to one happen on the other. I thought I could join the party with my android device, but I have to be online to access my dropbox folder. There is not a folder on my samsung where everything is automatically downloaded, like it is on a pc. I can manually download stuff, but I would rather it take care of itself.

Is there a (preferrably) free app that will auto-sync a folder (with folders in it) across pc's and an android device? The few I've looked at don't download the works onto my android tablet automatically.

Thanks

Dropsync does this perfectly and fast. It's made to work with dropbox. But it's not free. Foldersync also does this across most well known cloud services (ie box, skydive, sugarsync, Google drive). But, again, it is not free.

Any service/app (like dropbox) that doesn't have to work WITH another service? But that works like dropbox works on pc's?

I'm trying dropsync. It just sees my dropbox folders, and not misc files in the main dropbox folder. Guess I could put everything in a folder.

If you just want to send a file to your sdcard from dropbox, you can long press any file and choose export. Then choose export to sd card.

BTW... SugarSync cloud storage app allows instant sync to sdcard without using outside app. Also syncs to pc
