Help folders desapeared

Hi

i' m new to this forum. i own a Q7 Android TV Box. I recently changed the names of two folders in ES File explorer. all i did was place two full stops infront of the folder names and they just vanished. After searching for the folders for hours now I can't find them anywhere.

Hopefully someone can help me out

Putting a '.' in front of a file or directory hides it from listing.
Set your ES to show hidden files.
