Root Font Anti-aliasing?

HallOfPromise

Well-Known Member
I'm coming from a ZTE Zmax which basically has the same screen specs as the Stylo, at least same screen size, resolution, and such, pixel density. So when I picked up the Stylo I was expecting the same picture quality. Instead I noticed on the Stylo I see a lot more jaggies on the font compared to the Zmax. I noticed the Zmax has some sort of anti-aliasing going on. I notice fonts seem to have softer features compared to the Stylo. I know of the 4x MSAA setting in developer mode but I believe that is only for graphics and doesn't seem to help with font. Is there anyway to force or enable anti-aliasing for the Stylo? Would it be a build.prop setting or a simple change of Fonts, like a cleartype font? I am not too tech savvy, but I can fallow directions pretty well.

Show us a screenshot example. My Stylo is beside a Z Maxx and a Lever and the stylo looks crisper to me.
