Can't change font size on contacts and call log. Very small. Was able to change font size on text messages.

Changing the font size in your texting app was mostly likely only for the texting app. Did you try going into your phone's Settings menu for the overall font options? In mine the font style and size options are buried in Settings >> My Device >> Display >> Font. I'm guessing your phone has something similar.
