Help Fooling NPS to pull upgrades off the German Servers

After too much struggle with lot of pain, I was able to tunnel my TCP/IP traffic through German Proxy Servers. Unfortunately, NPS still throws the same errors and denies upgrade as usual

Lots of users say that they have downloaded official 2.1 however several other german users say that they have the same problems as us.

Could it be looking for a specific FW version in order to offer the download?

As in T-mobile DE will have version xyz, the UK, tuv etc?

So if flashed with a custom ROM, you could be hindering yourself getting the update?

You are right, this may also be the reason as I was trying to connect from i5700XEIL5.

Will try I5700XXJB3 as well, which i guess is a german f/w and boots cupcake...

I can confirm that, using Tor as a German proxy. Still no update
