For any one struggling to use Exchage with ActiveSync

I couldn't connect to my university exchange account using ActiveSync, I emailed uni and they told me to.

Not enter any domain, leave it blank.
For server use m.outlook.com
User name - enter the full email address

you're probably just accessing the webmail that way. I've seen multiple configurations that work, I'd be interested to see if this one works for anyone else.

does your university have more than one email address? for example, i have 2: first inital . last name@.edu and firstname.lastname@.edu. i had to use the full one. my university also uses MSN, with the server m.outlook.com. but i had to enter a domain name too.

Nope, we use one address to access everything, including signing in to the IM/MSN client.
