...I can't find the archived mail folder in the Gmail app. Anyone?

The archives are just hidden mail from your actual Gmail account Inbox. To access them open your Gmail account from your phone and select the "All Mail" view in the menu options.

I can read mine in the Gmail app.

Open app and hit menu->select view labels->scroll to all mail and select it.

Hmmm. I click on all mail and it appears to display every email I have gotten or sent. Doesn't say anything about archive. But I am sure the few I have archived are there, but FA if I want to search for it in that mess.....

When you are in the all mail label, just use the search button on the phone and you can search for whatever you want in the Gmail app without having to look through all the emails.
