"for your eyes only" the new phone app

I have a new app out called "for your eyes only"...it's only for iphone and androids...it's a free download....

What the app does:
When u send a pic/text msg to someone after they see/read it the msg will automatically delete off of that persons phone...they can't "save it" or "forward" the text...after 7-10 seconds it fades away forever,you also get a notification when the message has been read and if you have second thoughts about the msg you sent, you can take it back ...the real cool thing is that both people don't have to have the app only the sender...

Uses for the app:
Sending sexy pics...
Drunk texting...
Private texts...
 
I always get "Unable to send message, try again later". I don't think drunk you will even open up this app anyways.
 
with this being a web base app u must make sure your getting internet access where ever your trying to use it at....if your in a dead zone or an area that bad you will get the "unable to send try again" msg....
 
this app is for anybody...and if you have daughters that are teenagers i suggest you tell them to use this app...i remember a few months ago when this teenager was texting girls getting them to talk dirty to him on the texts and then he made a facebook page calling it the slut page and he put all the text on the page....i seen the story on the today show...if my app would have been out then it would have saved alot of young girls shame...i know i dont want this to happen to my daughter....

But in case you're sending actual information – like phone numbers, addresses, names, etc. – that is necessary to be used it is not very convenient to have it disappear after 30 seconds...
In most cases the recipient had better be aware that the message is about to melt away.

Well, the A-team led the way, didn't they? Just add a footnote: "This message will self-destruct in 5 seconds. POOF!".
Oh no, that was Mission Impossible!
Same difference.

And that crappy argument about protecting your daughter - puhlease.

If you write and app, release it and let us know what it does.
But selling us with these "points" ruins the suspension of disbelief.

yes the pics go thru my server and as it disappears on the phone its doing the same on my server....no history...and that thing about my daughter is a true statement....EVERYBODY IS SENDING NASTY PICS via their phone....maybe you dont have a teenage daughter....thats why u can't understand that logic....

Yeah, I think I remember the founders of Google saying exactly that about my search patterns and history 10 years ago. They all did, didn't they?
And they all reneged.

But if you can introduce me to the ladies in your commercial I'll forgive you... :D

you still using google right...? i'm not a big company like google so holding pics on a server would cost me way more....it dont make sense....google holds your history so they know what to promote to you as a consumer.....what u said sounds good in theory but not on paper....
 
FYEO,while the concept of your app is great the completion is lacking.
Why on gods green earth would anyone send sensitive information through a third party server? If I am going to send someone I trust enough with the information but only allow them 7 to 10 seconds to view it, but you who I don't know will have it on your server and take your word it is safe.
This is where the completion fails.

FYEO is a party-trick app. Don't ever take it seriously or entrust real secret messages or pix to it if you know what's good for you!

Besides: of the two test messages I sent one – although it did list in the history as sent-but-not-yet-read – disappeared from that list a few hours later without ever having been read. The fact that that test message was sent to Bejing may have had something to do with it... But in any case the bottom line is that the premise did not work 50% of the time in my exhaustive trials.

U trust the big companies everyday with ur info....and u complaining...the app is for fun and teasing....and u can send text messages to someone and have no history on ur phone or theirs... U should be able to figure out a way this app would come in handy...and by the way u trust banks with ur important info and they sell ur info just like other companies do...that's y we all get junk mail....
