Force gpu rendering

I cannot set 'Force GPU rendering' on Developer options on my Samsung Galaxy
Ace 3 S7275R mobile phone. It is automatically unticked this option on the next
phone boot.

2 possibilities:
1. GPU is not available on this phone
2. GPU is already forced

Most if not all developer options are reverted to defaults on reboot (including background process limit). As for forcing GPU rendering, it often makes the phone laggier in experience.

Is it a hack for making the 'Force GPU rendering' option to always stay enabled
after reboot?

Not that I know of, unless you can circumvent it by rooting your device.
