"Force stop list" notification. How stop it?

DanneV

Lurker
Android 13.

Have this "force stop app when screen is locked" activated. Works fine.

But I don't want to be notified about stopped apps each time I unlock screen. Can't find anywhere to turn the notification off.

Anyone can help?

What kind of cell you have?
And what apps are you running?

You used to get a toast message when an app crashed, before Google decided to follow Apple and just not tell you when an app crashed (you can turn it back on in the developer options menu, but most people won't know that exists).

But like Mike, in 15 years I've never seen the stopped apps notification you mention. Mind you I've never set or even seen any "force stop app when screen is locked" option either. There's a developer option to close an app the moment you leave it, but that's not linked to screen-off. So I'm guessing this is a particular app feature or something your manufacturer added to their version of Android (with each manufacturer making their own tweaks it's not always easy to know what is an Android feature vs what's something the manufacturer did). What device do you have?

In the delevoper options, you can turn back on the app crashing, but never saw "Force stop app when screen is locked"
Yeah kind of refresh this thread. OP.

I have that feature on my phone also, it's in the settings where you can customize what apps you want running in the background when your screen goes into lock mode. On my phone there's a list of all the apps that I can toggle on and off after my screen locks, and there's a notification letting you know what apps were closed after the screen is unlocked. At some point the only way that was activated is that someone or yourself went into those settings and toggle an app off after the screen is locked mostly it's done to save battery usage.
