Work pays for my phone and we are switching from Sprint to At&T. I just bought a Samsung Moment at the end of last year. I'm not real hip on getting an iPhone. It looks like I'm down to 2 choices: Nexus One and Motorola Backflip.
So can you help me out here on pros and cons or what would work better for me? I don't know very much, or anything at all, about cell phones.
A few things about me and my phones:
Nexus One - Is there any store that carries a model of this where I can check it out beforehand or do you just have to order blind?
I am rough on my phones. I drop them a lot one way or another. I've never had one break on me, but I'm rough. So I'm worried the N1 will break too easily on me. But I'm also worried about the keyboard being on the back of the Flip.
Keyboard - I specifically bought the Moment because it had a physical keyboard and I'm worried about using the N1. I had a Samsung Instinct and had to get rid of that due to their virtual keyboard. However, I have found on the Market a great keyboard program that I love. I can't type as fast but it gets the job done better for me than any other virtual alternatives I have found. If I'm typing out emails and texts I use the slide out but if I'm doing search queries or anything else I use the virtual. I assume I can install this on the N1 as well. Assume.
Price - The Flip is not a problem. The N1 is obviously going to be very expensive and work won't cover it all. So I'm worried about shelling out so much money for a phone that I'm going to break right away or end up not liking.
I don't use my phone for anything very important but I do use it a lot just to kill time. I don't need to sync with outlook and K9 takes care of my email needs. I have lots of games but their not very involved games and are fairly simple.
