Found this on my S7E. I haven't tried it (using 2 SIMs), but others have tried it on their S7E and Note8 with no issues so far. It's at the bottom of Developer Options:

It's not as bad as a 32gb phone but a lot of VR/Oculus content had to be stored on internal storage and it ate up all of the space on my S7edge, so was a true saver for me. Haven't had to do anything on my Note 8 yet but it's nice to know it's there.
