Forgot my password to open my screen, now what do I do, so I can use my T301 tablet

My Granddaughter forgot her password right after I ought this T301 CRUZ Tablet for her, She wants to use it, and we need to know if there is a way to open or unlock it for her to use this again? Please help us we are frustrated.
