Help forgot password

I forgot password on my trio 4.3 tablet and when I hold power button down and volume down it bring the android on but no menu to factory reset so how do I get on my trio not knowing my password HELP its been sitting for 3 months I want to get on it!

So it depends what version of the firmware you got. Later version, can reset via recovery mode. Earlier ones, if you're locked out, you have yourself a paperweight.
