Help formatting internal sd card?

WheelZ

Newbie
hey guys.

im having heraps of tyrouble connecting to kies, i have done a factory reset with no luck so i am thinking i might go to the last resort and format the internal sd card.

however i am concerned that if i do i will lose the android os itself?

can anyone confirm what the format will remove exsactly?

You won't lose the Android OS, you can't remove that from the phone, you will lose all your media and whatever files you stored on the internal sd.

What about if the SGS was rooted? Would you need to reroot the phone along with reinstalling Busybox etc?

I'm down to 64Mbs on my internal SD card. Along with 576Mbs on the Internal Phone Storage. I have Apps2SD but there are only a few that can be transferred across to the 25Gb remiaing on the External card and o those few they are such a small file size that they are hardly noticeable.
