Formatting SD Card As Internal?

I've just bought a new 64gb SD card and wondered if it's best to format it as internal memory? Are there any advantages?

if you format it as internal memory, your phone will now have 64gb plus the standard memory but AFAIK the memory card will not work in any other device (card reader etc) other than your HTC 10.

If you don't want to continue with it formatted as internal, you can reformat it for use elsewhere.

I'm curious if you format it as removable if it works OK for you. If you see my thread I'm having nothing but problems

It *HAS* to be a UH1- U3 class card for it to work as internal, won't let you if it is any slower (just FYI)

Here is a good article on Adoptable storage. It was made by Motorola but it is good info about the differences in Adoptable (internal) vs Portable (external) storage.
