Help Forum open, get reply to Q, why

When I get a GMail reply to a Forum question, then press the link in the email to go back to the Forum, which is still open on my Moto G 2014, why doesn't the link take me to the Forum copy already open instead of opening a new copy that I have to login to again.
Or am I missing a step? Tks.
 
Copy and paste the link from the browser you already have open and do the same with the link that opens from the email.

Just paste them in to a response here.
 
Okay I don't know how to copy from my phone.
The forum I had open was just dimply
Http:/androidforums.com.
If I used the link from email it, it starts the same way, thus opening app, then continues
/forum-open-get-reply-to-q-why.914824/

I see why it happens now. Tks. So shld close forum after asking a question. Seems a shame.
 
You shouldn't have to close it, the link should open in a new tab automagically.

We've had issues with scraper sites in the past and I was slightly concerned it was prompting you to log in again, but if both urls are androidforums.com, it's ok.

Once again, thanks.
If I don't use link to reopen a new forum the existing open copy doesn't seem to update with reply, but maybe I am not giving it enough time.
Either way doesn't matter if I have to login twice.

Pushing it now, can u recommend a copy/paste app?:(
