I believe because of security reasons, this forum has stopped allowing Tapatalk. You may want to check with other forums as well to ensure that they have allowed Tapatalk before purchasing it.

Tapatalk has a lot of little issues for me. Something else would be great.
Just for reading in forums you can use the free version of tapatalk.
For this forum I miss using tapatalk a lot.
But there is hope: End of year there will be a special app from phandroid.com. With this app you can visit androidforums.com, too.

End of the year? According to the posts I've read, they are targeting July/August for release of the androidforums app...

Even before the security issues "popped up", Tapatalk was a poor concept, IMO, with very limited potential.
For reading forums, rss is much cleaner and widely accessible.
For posting, there isn't a great solution yet, but most forum s/w will render just fine on a smartphone and moving forward (with iPads and Netbooks and bigger smartphone screens) mobile access will get as much (if not more) attention than conventional browsers from everyone posting content to the web.
