Help forwarding text messages

I want to forward text messages from my sony Xperia Arc S Lt18i running Android 4.0 but the menu commands differ from those indicated on the sony xperia website help section. The only options that come up after tapping the text message are "add to contacts" or "send text message". If i select "send text message" the screen opens a new blank message. Am I going mad or is there a step missing in the instructions? Or worse, from my software?

If you wanna forward any msgs on Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S just press the msg for to seconds & a menu will appear to "Copy", "Forward" or "Delete".
