Found a new menu for the first time, can't recreate the context

I was inside of the native sms application about to send a text and I made some off hand touches/gestures and opened a little (white and gray) floating [in the middle of the screen] quick menu I have never seen before. Appeared to be somewhat of a context menu as it had four icons relevant to the current state (gmail, sms, gtalk (maybe) and mail)--

Cannot for the life of me duplicate whatever it was that opened this menu. Scoured the manual/web/forums twice and have seen no mention of it.

I'm OCD like that so I just have to know how to reopen that damn thing even if I never find a relevant use for it.

You pressed the contact icon next to the message history. It is the same context menu as in Contacts.
