So I installed FoxFi on my unrooted Tmobile S3 and want to use my 4G data with my laptop. The issue I'm running into is that even though I have Wifi off so that I use my 4G data when tethering the FoxFi software keeps turning my wifi connection on as well. When I try to shut off the Wifi FoxFi pops up a message that I need to have my WiFi connection on in order for it to run.
But wouldn't that be the opposite of what this app is suppose to be doing. It is suppose to help us use our 4G data to tether when we have no access to Wifi connection. However, if it still needs the Wifi connection then it won't work since we will be using this where places there is no Wifi internet and we rely on our phone's internet to connect our laptop or tablet.
Anyone have any feedback?
