Just upgraded to an S7 Edge from an S4 and am now left w/o Foxfi, meaning NO internet for ANY device. Have tried multiple other apps from Google play store w/o ANY success. Any ideas?

Being phone/'puter illiterate would you be willing to guide me thru the process you have suggested or point me to a tutorial.
Cell services through VZW. Android 8. Samsung S7 Edge.

Aww crap.. You probably just shut yourself down on that one by using VZW as a Carrier. I'm truly sorry.
The general process is installing TWRP (made for that device) via ODIN and then using TWRP to flash custom ROMs
 
LoL, huh??? Didn't understand a bit of those abbreviations...
Been w/VZW since 1996. Heck, I still have my original bag phone!
So are you willing to help me find a way to utilize my grandfathered true unlimited data plan on VZW and turn this S7 edge into a mobile wifi hotspot and screw VZW? Sounds like a whole bunch of processes that are probably too deep for my old ask...
ANY and I do mean ANY suggestions will be appreciated and if necessary, paid for... (live in a small town in the PNW USA and not a lot of techies here).
