FPse help

Hello recently aquired my Xperia play and downloaded FPSE from android markets,

i downloaded and placed the BIOS on my SD card.
tried all different settings etc in FPse and i still cannot seem to play games at a decent framerate ive tried all frameskip etc.

the sound in the games is worse than the actuall playability tho and i have SPU sync on.

here are my settings
system.
Bios settings /sdcard/scph1001.bin
country usa,eu etc
mdec off
gte off
fast boot on
hle mode on
boost mode off
audio spu sync on

video
framelimiter off
frameskip 30fps this seem to make the games the fastest. tekken3 for example.
frameskip fix off or on makes no difference
screen filter off
screensize fullscreen
screen orientation auto
the rest is off.

the games that i ripped into iso are from original discs etc

i sent the bios in system to my sd card but when i try and load the bios aswell when i start a game and reset it just kicks me back to my app page.

i cannot also seem to be able to tick boost mode it states IN BIOS MODE ONLY.

so all in all i get slow down and the sound you cannot even listen to it its so bad anyone any ideas?????

Someone help me. At first Fpse was working perfectly fine, then a day later it seems to only be able to read .bin files. The app description says it's able to read all Psx rom files (Such as .iso, .sub etc.) and it did when i first got it, But now it can only read the .bins. Can someone help me? I am running this on an un-rooted Samsung GS2 Skyrocket.
