Root Franco Kernel Discussion Thread [R32 6.0 M]

Franco released his r1 kernel for the nexus 6 last night. This is a favorite kernel for many of the longtime nexus users, and people new to nexus will likely like it as well. I flashed it last night and everything is working just fine.

Its feature packed, with more likely to come as further releases happen.

You can download the latest flashable zips from franco's website here:

Changelog he posted for r1:

Used franco with my N5 to adjust my voltages, so my question is (because I am a super rookie) what are the advantages of running franco on rooted Lollipop. I really like to support the program however with Lollipop I don't know what I am walking into.

On the kernel side not much has changed between lollipop and kitkat. On the user facing side its essentially the same between the n5 and n6. You can still change cpu speeds, voltages, color profiles, performance profiles, ect.
