Free Amazon apps?

Used to be I'd see links on Facebook (usually posted by Android Authority, I believe) where Amazon would give away hundreds of dollars worth of free apps. The deal was available for something like a week at a time.

However, I have not seen these offers lately. Is it because I'm missing them, or have these been done away with?

They do those give aways every few months it seems, I read Android Police daily and that's where I usually find out about them
