It's an emergency app that might be helpful in many different scenarios and situations.
It can also be used for non-emergency cases, for example if you are meeting a friend and cannot find each other.

- showing your current location so you always know where you are
- sending SMS with location details to the chosen contact number
- automatic location updates so your friend will get a message every specified number of seconds or minutes
