Freestyle mode

Does anybody knows if it's possible to create your very own freestyle theme on the HTC10?

As far as I know now, you can only download 1 of the 10 (awful) freestyle themes HTC has to offer and you can edit a few things but the design and stickers you can choose from are limited to the theme you've downloaded.

Sorry I don't have an answer for you

This blog helped me learn what Freestyle Mode is:
http://blog.htc.com/2016/05/a-chat-with-the-designers-of-htc-themes-freestyle-layout/

Maybe you could get into contact with the author and they could run a follow up story?
It would be nice if they demonstrated the new mode and how to use it rather than just talk about its inception? And they could tackle frequently asked questions too?

They also have an 'HTC Show Me' YouTube channel they ought to utilize

I used the a HTC freestyle theme to start with and it was quite impressive, although I gave up after I changed to another freestyle theme and all my app locations and links reset.

Also some of the HTC videos have a sticker working as a folder and I just cant figure out how to get that to work.

The only place that I've found to create a freestyle theme of your own is on the pro maker section of the HTC site - https://themes.htc.com/#/prolanding

However every time I have tried to use it I cant even get it to recognize the wallpaper I choose (The First step!) as it always gives me an error saying its the wrong resolution, even when I've made sure the image is the correct size.

If you manage to get the pro maker to work past the first step then please let me know.
