Freezing service

Okay the lest couple of days IV been noticing that my phone freezes up for example; when I'm trying to send a text and it says message not sent I try again and it comes back with the same response.. I look at my 3g icon and I don't see any movement with the arrows.. so at the same moment I try to make a phone call and nothing happens no ringing or anything of that sort.. I then try to hang up and it takes sometime to actually hangup... I have to turn my phone off and then back on so that I can make a phone call or text.... very annoying BC this happen to me three times this week....
has anyone else experienced these freezing attacks.???? Also forgot to add that during these attacks my internet works just fine..

There is an application in Marketplace that will let you see all of your running applications, and sort them by processor utilization. (TaskManager) It might be worthwhile to run that to understand what apps are running, and which of them are taking more than their fair share of processor time.

I've done this a few times to find rogue applications that are written poorly.

This has happened to me just the once, yesterday whilst on the train attempting to text my boyfriend.

I restarted my phone, and everything worked as normal, but my boyfriend is reporting he didn't receive the 3 or 4 texts I sent him after I got home (there was a very worried phonecall that evening, it's a 3.5 hour train ride from his house, he'd thought I'd been mugged and abducted!), and I didn't receive his texts til this morning. Yet testing with my housemate's phone right next to me last night, I was able to send/receive texts to/from that phone.

Very odd! Especially as my network doesn't offer delivery reports for text messages. I'm constantly paranoid that people aren't getting my texts. That, or they just don't like me enough to reply ;)
