frequent loss of connection

hello,
i bought my samsung galaxy s3 about a year ago and i am att customer. since may be couple months, i frequently loose connection and when i restart, it comes back. this wasnt happening before. what should i do? the att store couldnt help me.

Did you check to see if it will update or if it has the latest firmware
