Thinking of going to upgrade in the morning. How do you guys feel about this transition? Is it worth it?

I love big screens and all, but man, that screen is just to big, if it had a quad core processor etc, maybe, just maybe, but I'm not carrying that tablet of a phone around.
It's got newer firmware and air gestures, I don't believe the SG3 has the air gestures, but that's probably the biggest selling point about it aside from the obvious size.
go with the s4. a lot better phone. if the mega had the s4 specs, I might consider it. but my s4 can knock that thing in the dirt
I would say if you can afford it get the S4.

And that's the only thing that intrigues me, as I am a giant as well as a multimedia freak. Be much easier to do my work (@job) and and edit my YouTube channel (LeeoJohnsonTV ;] lol) I think I'd be satisfied with it as it is just a bigger S3/S4 sort of. The specs are a lil more comparable to the S3 plus the S3 will be an excellent early holiday gift for me mum lol.
I would, but it never seemed like an upgrade from the S3 that warrants $600. The S4 is awesome though, congrats!
Yes the S4 is Top 5 phones of the year but I like Mega's size. If you saw how the S3 and S4 looked in my hand you'd understand lol.
and if you cant, get the nexus 5 for 350, cheaper than the mega and better specced than the s4.
It sounds like Mega will be upgrade for you; bigger screen (+1.5'), little better CPU (+0.2ghz... negligible), more internal memory, bigger size battery.
You will enjoy all your multimedia tasking with Mega's size with Metro PCS' unlimited data![]()
no worriesNot meaning to step on Shabby's feet here because the man knows what he is talking about but here is a video thats pretty fair when comparing the Nexus 5 and S4 if those two are on anyone's minds. My only reason for not getting the Nexus 5 myself is the battery being non removable and no expanding memory.

Consider Note 2 it has 5.5 inch screen, but its much better screen. This Mega is not the phone for the money, seriously, you can get better phone for same money.
Nexus 5 has much better specs
Moto G is only $179 and has better quality screen.
Note 2 has ridiculously better specs as well.

but the OP stated they liked the fact it had the bigger screen because it was more suited to what they do, the note 2 I totally agree with you, but the other 2 pale in comparison in terms of actual screen size.
I love it when people Only thank those who offered the answers the OP wanted to hear but don't thank those just as factually answered but NOT the way the OP wanted answered.
How toolish.
