Front camera blurry

It looks like there is some kind of beauty mode on although it's 0. Is there any way to fix it by myself? Main camera works fine.
 
Check it's not just covered in muck or earwax or snot or something. An improperly designed screen protector might have a softening or blurry effect as well, if it doesn't have a hole for the front camera lens in it.

I think my camera was defective. I had to send it to Samsung.. will update when i get it back. Regardless, the front camera working (in store) was so much worse than the Iphones. =(

1) Re-adjust all camera settings turning off video stabilization and any special effects.
2) Clear camera cache using Application Manager.
3) start your phone in safe mode.
