Does anyone know how to remove the frp lock from the z982? I have bypassed it but I'm not able to remove the Google account so I can use the phone. Also is the frp lock blocking the developer options cause when I go to the settings and tap build number the developer options menu does not appear
 
Just log in using the Gmail account the device was linked to before it was reset and you should be good to go.

Was it a 2nd hand device? If so, maybe ask whoever you bought it from to log in for you so you can completely remove the account.
 
Unfortunately I bought the phone from someone who is technology incapable. They don't remember the password to the Gmail account they used on the phone and they don't have the phone number anymore that was used when they set up the recovery. So my dilemma is I have a phone that probably no one will be able to use.
 
Not really cause if I can get the damn frp lock removed then I will have a decent phone plus i think they are in jail for child support
 
And if you can't remove it you have paid for an ornament.

Trouble is, even if I knew how to remove it (which I don't) telling you would be problematic: it's an anti-theft measure, so posting workarounds for it in a public forum means telling the bad guys how to do it as well.
 
Normally with fastboot enabled devices, I believe 'fastboot erase frp' takes care of that but but I believe ZTE locked everyone outta fastboot starting with the ZTE Warp Sync and original Zmax..
