Help FRP question

I have a LeEco LeMax X2 phone that I am giving to a friend across the country. I've done a factory data reset from the system menu. Is that all I need to do so he doesn't run into problems setting it up?

Did you put it back to stock or is it still running a custom rom? And, did you have a Google account on it?

It is still running a custom rom. I had a google account on it as well.

Delete the Google account, then factory reset it. You should be good. (I've got one of those, running lineage 14.1)

OK, Where do I delete the google account? I saw it under settings, but didn't see an option to delete it. I'm running Resurrection Remix fwiw, which is quite like AOSP

For me it's under settings>accounts and it lists it as simply "Google". I'm pretty sure the LE's don't have any other type of FRP.

Yep, found it already. I think I'm all set. I'm sending it to a mutual friend so I'm sure he'll figure it out. Plus, he can contact me if I messed anything up. Thanks for the help.

I think they are done for here and everywhere. Their ambitions severely outpaced their funding.

FWIW, Google could help by putting an "I'm selling my phone" option in settings somewhere with 2-step verification. Just sayin'
