Fruit Ninja not working on Galaxy 3?

I've got a Samsung Galaxy 3/I5800, and I've recently tried downloading apk files for this. I've downloaded quite a few versions, from 1.3.1 up to 1.5.4. However, for each and every one of them, after playing for a certain amount of time, the game freezes and I have no choice but to force close.

Is it a problem with my phone? I'm pretty sure it's not, seeing as the game runs smoothly for a short while...by the way, the more recent the version, the quicker it force closes.

My phone is running 2.1. No upgrades. I've also thought about actually buying from the market, but I don't want to risk getting it then finding out it doesn't work.

You could try to get it from the market, there is no additional download needed so i think you should be able to check out the game within 15 minutes?

It's a tricky one as you are not running the "official" game i'm assuming?
