When i play a video in Youtube or other video sites and i click the full screen icon does not go full screen vertical and only horizontally when i turn the phone to its side. Do you know of a app or a way to make the phone show full screen also vertically?

It's not an issue with software. Most videos have a 16x9 (horizontal to vertical) aspect ratio. When holding the phone vertically, you only get a 9x16 aspect ratio. In order to show the video in the proper 16x9 aspect while holding the phone vertically, the vertical size of the picture will only take about 30% the height of the screen.
