Funny useless screen saver showing up when dialing a number?

Hi,

I use HTC desire, using Froyo 2.2 by pinky (based on official rom).

One thing that bothers me so much, is after I dial a number from phone, some screen savers of android like cartoons showed up. The pictures were like android character playing guitar, android eating ice cream, sometime as stupid as android eating hot dog.

Is this normal for android os? or did I just misinstalled some apps that does this? from what i remember I never installed screen saver apps. Those screensavers bothers me so much! As I was becoming unable to see the 'End call' button!

its called a "call clip". you must have installed by accident, just remove the app.

I'be checked on my applications list in settings, and I'm sure there was no 'call clip' in it..

Are there any other similar application with different names?

Anyone wanna chime in? I don't know of any phone with built in call clips.
