I'm not a boxing fan by any means, but can someone explain how a man who was punched to the floor twice, can make any claim to have won the match?

The last boxing I watched I think it was Muhammad Ali. I'm not really a boxing fan.

I'm a fan of Vasiliy Lomachenko. Very fast hands and tricky foot work. He had a title match on ESPN the other night and won. Was entertaining. Other than him, I just don't follow the sport much. My son boxed for a while. He took it up after college so he was late to the game. He won the tough man boxing in our state three times and went to the national fights the last year. He did not do well on the national level facing opponents that had boxed for years. He grew up a wrestler.. among other sports. He went years undefeated winning state and national tourneys.
