So I took the plunge and went for a manual update to the G1 to 1.5. Pretty good so far, just seems to be visual enhancements as well as "makes sense" enhancements to many applications.
One thing I did notice was, it takes far longer to charge, however, the battery lasts a helluva lot longer.
Very pleasing to see. Exploring the update, I seem to encounter another "oh wow, they did that too" every day.
