g1 album thumbs problem

when i mounted my phone to my computer, i deleted all the pictures in the folder albumthumbs where all the pictures taken from the phone go. i thought at the time it would delete the pictures from my phone too, however it did not.

but the problem im having is now that when i mount my phone to my computer, i can not access any media from my phone at all to upload to the computer, how can i reverse or fix this problem? thanks

To let you know that all media is saved onto the SD card not the phone. The reason it may not have deleted from the phone is because you only deleted the thumbnails {You know them little pics while viewing your gallery... Their the thumbnails). You should have munted your SD -> go to the folder DCIM then delete the contents of the folder saying "Camera".

If you can retrieve the thumbnails (Which I don't think you can now) you should get your second problem sorted. However since you probably can't you may have to delete them images now and start a fresh. Unless maybe you could visit the gallery scroll through it then see if that recreates the thumbnails
