I got my phone just two days ago and have been loving it, but for some reason my phone will automatically reboot and stay on the screen that says Android, with the little flash going by continuously, pausing for a couple seconds every now and then. Every time this happens, I have to manually reboot it, and then it's fine, but this happens often enough for it to be a problem... any suggestions?
EDIT: I can confirm that removing the SD card didn't help anything.
EDIT2: Tried uninstalling all my apps, I still get the occasional reboot. Perhaps the reboot isn't infinite, but I really don't have the patience to wait it out and see....
EDIT3: I've tried doing a hard reset of my phone, reformatting my SD card, and switching to the SIM card my phone came with rather than my old SIM card, and none of those things worked. I can also pretty much confirm that my phone never actually finishes rebooting, as I've left it in this state for well over half an hour.
EDIT4: Here's some specs on my phone:
1.) Model Number- T-Mobile G1
2.) Firmware Version- 1.6 (Donut, right?)
3.) Baseband Version- 62.50S.20.17H_2.22.19.261
4.) Kernel Version- 2.6.29-00479-g3c7df37 android-build@apa26 #19
5.) Build Number- DRC83
Also do you have a T-Mobile Data plan on your
PayAsYouGo or FlexPay Plan? I'm pretty sure I purchased a Data plan when I upgraded, I *think* it's a FlexPay plan.
Carrier ? T-Mobile
Country you are using your phone in ? US
Is the phone SIM registered in T-Mobile as the Correct phone? Yes, I upgraded through T-Mobile and the T-Mobile site reflects this.
